Ferrari 308 GTS QV set to steal the stage at Silverstone sale

The European GTS QV is considered by many to be the most collectible Ferrari 308 model.

The replacement for the Dino, the 308 has drop-dead gorgeous looks, and this version is the fastest factory spec 308 you can buy.

As denoted by the Quattrovalvole in its name, this model boasts four valves on each cylinder head of its V8 engine.

With 240hp on tap (up from the previous model’s 214hp) the GTS QV sprints past 60mph in 6.7 seconds and wraps up the standing quarter-mile in 14.5 seconds. American models with the same name have a little less horsepower.

This 1985 model has covered only 10,000 miles and looks to be in superb condition. It’s had three owners from new and comes with the original handbooks and some service records and old MoTs.

The estimated price for it at the 20th September Silverstone Auctions Autumn Sale is £80,000 to £90,000.
